Your journey begins with a warm welcome at a charming Umbrian farmhouse, where you’ll learn about the history and traditions of truffle hunting. Equipped with knowledge and enthusiasm, venture into the picturesque forests, led by the keen noses of loyal canine companions who can sniff out even the most elusive truffles hiding beneath the soil.

To do a truffle hunt is a unique experience for blending good food, traditions and contact with locals. It will start in the morning at a farm. From there together with a truffle hunter we will enjoy a walk in a wood with trained dog hunting the so called black diamond of Umbria, truffle.

After the truffle hunt you will have a tasting with truffle, extra virgin olive oil and other umbrian products.

• We walk in the countryside so you need shoes suitable for that (runners are ok). If you are unable to walk on uneven terrain please let us know in advance. We will walk for about 1h – 1h30 in the wood. If you have any dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian, allergies) please let us know. If we have bad weather we will be in touch to make sure you are still up for it!
